„Wenn du ein Sexgott bist, bin ich Atheist" (Gospel für Enttäuschte)

„Wenn Gott nicht existierte, wäre alles erlaubt" „und weil er nicht
existiert, ist der Mensch zur Verantwortung verdammt." Mit diesen
bedeutungsschweren Sätzen bimmeln wir das neue Jahr ein und
beschäftigen uns frischerweise mit dem verantwortungsvollen Thema
Hackfleischverordnung. Die „Verordnung über Hackfleisch, Schabefleisch
und anderes zerkleinertes rohes Fleisch" ist bereits 2007 abgelaufen
und der „Tierische(n)-Lebensmittel-Hygieneverordnung" untergemengt
worden und daraufhin darin aufgegangen. Sie strahlt jedoch weiterhin
glorreich wie der erste Mai und regelt den Umgang mit zerkleinertem
Fleisch aller Art im Großen wie im kleinen. Um in Deutschland
selbstständig (jetzt mit Doppel-ST) im Gastronomiegewerbe tätig zu
sein, ist eine mehrstündige Schulung u.a. zum Thema Hack
verpflichtend. Dass das auch für vegane Imbissbuden gilt, macht mir
ein warmes Gefühl der Gleichberechtigung im Oberbauch. Hack mit einer
Nagelschere selber herzustellen ist eine der meditativsten Übungen im
Küchenbereich neben dem Versuch, Butter aus fettarmer Milch zu
erschütteln. Möglich ist es auch, das tiefgefrorene Tier mit einer
Küchenreibe in die gewünschte Form zu bringen. Wer gar nichts zu tun,
aber eine Friteuse hat, kann große Scheiben Tier mehrfach falten und
kleine Männchen ausschneiden, die dann beim Auseinanderfalten eine
Kette ergeben. Ein tolle Partydekoration und mal was ganz anderes als
dieser überfahrene Käse-Igel oder die Wurstkette aus Ket-Wurst. Aus
dem Nicht-Männchen-Rest der Tierscheibe kann man noch kleine Blümchen
oder Schneeflocken schneiden. Der Rest wird dann wie oben beschrieben
geraspelt (kälteempfindliche Gemüter nehmen einen Locher) <und als
Tierkonfetti in die Luft geworfen. Hier gilt dann wieder: „Don't try
this at home – do it at your neighbour's…"

Child Abuse (USA)

Child Abuse is a band that sounds like the reanimated corpse of Miles
Davis hatefucked all the guys in Morbid Angel, moved to Brooklyn, and
raised the resulting children on Bach, Nintendo, and methamphetamines.
Drummer Oran Canfield has had quite the life. His dad is neither a dead
jazz musician nor a crazy death metal dude, but someone even more
intense:
self-help guru and Chicken Soup for the Soul creator Jack Canfield. He
split when little Oran was a toddler, leaving him and his brother with
their itinerant therapist/hippie mom. By the time he was 13, Oran had
done
time at an anarchist private school, learned to juggle under Wavy
Gravy,
and spent two years in the circus while living at a San Francisco punk
house. He later dropped out of art school, got addicted to heroin,
played
in a bunch of noise bands, and almost died on multiple occasions. If
anyone's entitled to write a memoir at age 35, it's this guy. So he
did.
It's called Long Past Stopping, and it's coming out September 15. We
talked to him about it.

Rhinobucket (USA)

Signed to Warner Bros. in 1990, Rhino Bucket's self-titled debut
yielded two singles "One Night Stand" and "Blood on the Cross," which
heaved them to the Billboard Top 40 singles chart and made them
regulars on MTV's Headbanger's Ball. "Get Used to It", 1992's follow
up, was recorded by legendary producer Terry Manning (Led Zeppelin,
ZZ Top) and spawned the single "Ride with Yourself," which landed on
the soundtrack to the blockbuster film Wayne's World.

In 1993 drummer Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio) joined the group for the
recording of their third album, 1994's "Pain". This lineup toured
relentlessly until 1995 when the band took what turned out to be an
extended hiatus. Never ones to say die, a one-off sold-out reunion
gig in 2000 inspired singer/guitarist Georg Dolivo and bassist Reeve
Downes to reform with original drummer Liam Jason and KIX guitarist
Brian "Damage" Forsythe.

The band hit the L.A. clubs and found their reputation had grown
substantially, gaining the attention of hip indie label Acetate
Records. This resulted in 2006's "And Then It Got Ugly" which
produced the single "Welcome to Hell", featured in the Oscar winning
film "The Wrestler". Simon Wright returned to the fold at 2007's
Rocklahoma festival and subsequently appears on 2009's "The Hardest
Town" album.

In 2010 Rhino Bucket made their first European appearance in nearly
15 years with a 45-date tour covering 14 countries. The start of 2011
will see an even more extensive tour of Europe in support of "Who's
Got Mine", the bands third release for the Acetate imprint.

The new album, "Who's Got Mine", was recorded in Hollywood at
Grandmaster Recorders by producer Doug Boehm. The disc features
drummer Anthony "Tiny" Biuso (TSOL,The Dickies). Already familiar to
stateside Bucket concertgoers, Tiny will be behind the kit on the
band's upcoming trip to Europe starting January 6 through March 4.
